Join our Lamp Class on Sundays, August 18 and 25, 9-10a for a practical, two-week study of 1st, 2nd, and 3rd John that compliments our Scripture readings in these wonderful epistles. Led by David Swicegood. What is LAMP? We all need instruction to grow in our ability to lead ourselves and others. LAMP will help prepare you for ministry through Biblical instruction and practical help. ALEX ACREE was installed as an elder this Sunday. Please welcome him to the Elder team. Alex was born and raised in St. Johns County. He spent five years outside St. Johns county where he received his AA degree from Sante Fe Community College in Gainesville and his BS degree in Civil Engineering form Florida State University in Tallahassee. Alex currently holds a professional engineering license in the state of Florida. He is married to Michelle, and they have four children—Logan, Savannah, Harper, and Damien. Alex came to faith in Christ in 2011 at Good News Church and has been actively involved with the church ever since. #goodnewsloves

Day 5 was an epic end to a ROARing good week of VBS! Bible Point: When life is good...God is good! "Remember the Lord, who is great and glorious." Nehemiah 4:14

Day 4 brought us the Good News that although we will have troubles, Jesus has conquered the world! Bible Point: When life is sad...God is good! "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted." Psalm 34:18
